Hmmm...
So I was driving out of the parking garage at work today on my way home, when all of a sudden I hear one of my favorite songs..."let me clear my throat"...all you ladies know the one...so I turn it up and start dancing in my seat...then I realize I am doing all of this in my MINIVAN!!!!!! Hmmm...how things have changed!

Soccer Mom??? Baseball Mom???
It's official the Snyder family has entered Minivan Nation. We traded in the only thing I actually own in my life (my 1998 Nissan Sentra with 140,000 miles and no working air conditioning) for a leased 2007 Honda Odyssey. We thought it over and got a good deal so we went with it...it's surreal, a minivan???? So hopefully it will feel new for a while, there's nothing like a new car - no goldfish crumbs, thrown sippee cups under the passenger seat, or books strewn across the seats - but I am sure that won't last long! Now we just need some more little Snyder's to fill that third row of seats!
p.s. I am hoping for soccer mom!!!!!

Busy, Busy, Busy!
Such an excuse for not posting! I would say that the theme of August was "family and friends"....We had a very busy but wonderful month filled with visits and events with our loved ones. The month started with a visit from Ryan's grandmother, Aunt, and Uncle - it was special because Ryan has actually never met his grandmother...They traveled down from Maine and we had a really wonderful afternoon. Colin quickly warmed up to his great-grandmother, great aunt and uncle and played with them all afternoon. It was very exciting! Then a few weekends later we enjoyed my cousin Mary Beth's wedding in Boston. It was a great wedding and we are so happy for Mary Beth and Al! Then we made our way down to CT to Camp Buglione! Our fourth (?) annual Quinni get together. Once again we had such a blast and every time we get together I leave thinking how lucky I am to have such genuine, loving, and long lasting friends in my life...it means so much! We wrapped up our visits with a last minute cookout with my cousin Kristen, her husband Eric, and their twins Sam and Sophie before they headed back to Los Angeles. We had a very special visit, it is so great to catch up with them when they are here and Colin loved his cousins! Unfortunately we learned that my Uncle Rob is quite sick...I am going to really do my best to spend as much time with him during the next few months, he means so much to our family, it's been hard to grasp, but he doesn't want us to worry about his spirits, he just is sad because he knows we are...Hard to believe summer is coming to an end...I feel like Colin has just grown so much this summer. He is just a great little guy and I think he enjoyed his summer as much as his mommy and daddy did! This month I realized even more that I want him to grow up knowing his family will always love him no matter what and will be there for him no matter what...he is lucky to have such loving people in his life too!
